The steel Ketch rigged sailing ship Lena was built in 1980 at the Dutch shipyard Ammerlaan (built nummer 781.) It was designed by the well-known yacht designer Martin Brekebede and based on the hull shape of the famous Colin Archer.

It is built to be able to sail safely in heavy weather and sea conditions. Same ships sailed without problems around the world.

The interior is by yacht builder Loedeman made of teak and has one dubble bed and three single beds. The decks are made of teak. Masts and booms are aluminum, rigging and railing is made of stainless steel. Steering is by tiller. Height is 12.50m The 5 ft (1.50 m) long bowsprit made of pine.The ship’s length is 31 ft (9.40m) -total length 36 ft (10.90m).Width is 11 ft (3.35m) Draught is 4.6 ft (1.45m) Weight 10 tons
